Return to Femininity: Kate Middleton's Fashion

Assuming she maintains and continues on with her fashion style, British royal Kate Middleton will be the most important spokeswoman to give a push to the growing distaste of mannish or androgynous clothing by women, giving a big boost to the growing desire for women to express themselves in a feminine manner via fashion; to represent who and what they really are.

Once it was revealed she would be marrying into the royal British family, whatever Kate wore would be flying off the shelves of stores, as women rushed to imitate the beautiful Princess.

On the recent trip by Prince William and Kate to North America, it was commented on strongly by those in the fashion industry and onlookers how feminine Kate dressed. A nod to the growing long-term popularity of the desire of women to be feminine.

As one writer commented, "The running theme among the outfits was a ladylike, figure-flattering silhouette, in luxurious neutral fabrics with knee-length hems. The dresses nipped in at the waist, either with darts, a waist-tie or a waistband, ...."

Kate Middleton, as far as she relates to the growing movement of women towards embracing their God-given femininity, she has come on the scene at the most opportune time. Her presence and choices will change the fashion industry, which is already scrambling to complement her fashion decisions. That's good news.

At a polo match attended by the duchess, she wore this beautiful Jenny Packham dress. The flowers on the dress were hand painted. It doesn't get much better than this. Fantastic!

It also shows an entirely different feminine look, which works very well for her. Being a fan of hats worn by women, I love the one she's wearing here.

This was Kate's choice when she arrived in Belfast on a royal tour by the couple.

The Burberry trench coat is stunning, and pretty the ruffle on the hem, which enhances Kate's femininity, is beautiful.

Here is the first look by Americans of Prince William and Kate on U.S. soil, as the Duchess of Cambridge arrived wearing Peridot dress by Roksanda Illinic. It's a little difficult to see, but the color of the dress was lavender.

This is of course just a tiny sampling of the already huge number of fashion photos of the duchess, and as you can see, we're in for a long-term treat if this photogenic and beautiful young woman continues to showcase the attractiveness of her femininity.
